Getting started with Fobzz

Note: Each new account comes with 10 user licenses, additional licenses can be purchased separately

1. Downlaod app

Go to the App store or Google play and download the Fobzz app

2. Allow popups

There will be a few popups that will require you to allow them

3. Sign up

Click the sign up link on the bottom and follow the prompts

4. Create a new company

Click the "Create new" and follow the prompts

5. Add a site

Click the plus sign and follow the prompts

6. Add a device

Make sure your Fobzz is powered on and click the "New device"

7. Click on the circle

Make sure the device in powered on and enabled

8. Choose a device

Choose a new device, click next and follow the prompts

9. New device added

Device will show offline until configured, click on "offline"

10. Connect to wifi

Click on configure communication parameters

11. Enter wifi info

Enter your 2.4ghz wifi name and password and click save

12. Device online

You did it! Follow the next slides to add users, schedules etc.

Adding a user

There are three types of users:
Admin: Can create and delete users, schedules and devices.
User: Can view & open assigned doors.
Visitor: Can open doors for a predetermined time frame.

1. Click on "New user/admin"

Once complete, the user will be able to login with his email and password (sent to their email)

2. Enter info

Follow the prompts and click "save" Once new user logs in, it is recommended to change password

Groups & schedules

To start using schedules, you will first need to create groups.
For device schedules, it is only necessary to create a device schedule, then a device group and select the schedule.
For user schedules, you should first create a time schedule then a user group, select the time schedule, then create a device group and select the user group.

1. Create a schedule

Click on "schedules" then on "new schedule" choose your days and time then save.

Here you can select user or device schedule and you can also add up to three schedules in a day

2. Create a user group

Click on "users" then on "New user group", select users
and save

Here is where you select users and your time schedule (a user schedule must be created before)

3. Creat device group

Tap on "Devices" then on "New group"
select the devices you want to add and save

For Android devices, scan QR code to install the Fobzz app

To properly install and use the Fobzz app, read and follow all the steps.

Note: Each new account comes with 10 user licenses, additional user licenses are required to add users to new companies or sites.

Using the Fobzz app

Note: For the Fobzz app to work properly, make sure Bluetooth is turned on, then go to your phone setting/ Fobzz app setting and allow all permissions.

Adding a user

There are three types of users:
Admin
Has full management, send messages, add or delete users etc.
User
Has access to select doors
Visitor
Has access to select doors for a period of time
